On Monday, December 11th, our girls bowling team competed in the District Championship. Although our girls were defeated, they are still moving onto Regionals in January. Good luck ladies!!!

Abigail Scoggins recently participated in the TSSAA Girls State Tournament for the 4th year in a row. She won the District title and placed high enough in the Region for a spot in this year's State Tournament. We are very proud of Abigail and her accomplishments!!

Carlee Bean, Hannah Hawkins, Mallory Jenkins, Madelyn Maberry placed 1st in the State in Board Game Design. Gracie Wilson placed 3rd in the state in Promotional Design and Dayla Allen placed 4th in Prepared presentation. They represented Tennessee at the National Conference in Louisville, KY.

The Jackson County Band performed at the Upper Cumberland Concert Festival in Cookeville and earned a rating of "Superior", which is the highest mark.

Student Council members teamed up with members of our County Chamber of Commerce and helped decorate our town square. Thanks to all of the Student Council Members who came out to help!

All students have the opportunity to have a Smart Mouth Pizza or Calzone each day for lunch if they choose. This is a change that our students are loving so far!

Coach Kevin King has been a staple to JCHS for 30 years. He is the voice of the Blue Devils, a rocking FCA advisor, was a baseball coach for over 20 years, and an excellent teacher. Congratulations Coach King!!

We have not had such a loud and loyal group of students in many years. This year the pep club followed our football team and basketball team and showed amazing support. Thank you to all of these fantastic students!
